The engine of 3.0 liter V6 is the most advanced technology in diesel common rail direct injection via piezo valve at a pressure of 2,000 bars, variable geometry turbo with electric turbochargers (VGTs) and control emissions achieved by recirculation controlled exhaust gas oxidation catalyst and particulate filter.

Performance, generous torque and low consumption is accompanied by proper operation, reliability and low emissions. Another factor is the auto start / stop function, which is installed by default. Adaptive air suspension is available as an alternative to steel spring suspension standard, to give a wider range of suspension settings to extend the extra trip.

Through its proportions are only Panamera clear in its market segment: measuring 1931mm (76.0in) wide and 1418mm (55.8in) high, the Panamera is both wider and lower than comparable models with four doors. The Porsche Panamera diesel costs £ 62,134 (€ 80,183 in Germany, inc. VAT) and is available in the UK since August 2011.
