Ford Performance Vehicles has increased the visual presence of its vehicles in the range BF new model, the introduction of a bold new design theme that offers a greater distinction between Boss 290 V8 and F6 270 Turbo-powered vehicles.
The new-look front bumpers for all models, an aggressive race inspired lip surrounding the larger lower air intake, which is repeated in the same way around the opening of the new look of the rear bumpers of all sedans. This is combined with an elegant new design, additional lights.
The unique design theme provides FPV with greater exclusivity and flexibility to adapt the design of individual models.
Complete the new style, all Boss 290-powered vehicles will receive a 19-inch alloy wheels as standard installation to the new design area of the top GT-P and Super Pursuit models, while the GT and GT-P is equipped also a traditional muscle car-inspired dual exhaust pipes. All Boss 290-powered models also have a wider choice of new strips and side hood sticker optional design packages.
"Our customers loved the style inspired by the BA GT career and technical details have been implemented to give the F6 Typhoon and F6 Tornado a unique look," said David Flint, Managing Director of Ford Performance Vehicles.
"The new BF models, we took the opportunity to give our vehicles even greater road presence and at the same time to create a distinct visual differences between our Boss 290 V8 models and F6 variants."
Exterior styling
BF range from FPV new look builds on the success of its predecessors with the development of a step forward in design.
The new-look front bumper of the car further performance Boss 290 V8 traditional style powered vehicles, larger and more pronounced lower air intake with the race-inspired three slot spoiler.
Introduce an element of classic style combined with aggressive design are the fog lights new look. The F6 Typhoon and F6 Tornado also carry the aggressive look again, but with a uniquely designed air intake below which reverse angle pillars to accentuate the silver intercooler behind the Technik grille mesh. Both the F6 Typhoon and F6 Tornado feature exclusive design kit with additional inserts color coded. These styling elements give a dramatically different look to the F6 models compared to GT, GT-P, Pursuit and Super Pursuit.
The contribution pronounced surround continues through the rear bumpers on all sedan variants with a design signature extraction in three. The mesh in each model also reproduces the front bumper: black in GT, satin alloy GT-P and silver in F6 Typhoon.
Active Sonar parking sensors back now standard on the flagship GT-P and optional for the first time in GT and F6 Typhoon with an RRP of $ 650.
All FPV sedans gain new jewel-effect tail lights introduced in all models of the BF Falcon.
Improve more aggressive styling, all FPV Boss 290 V8 models are equipped with alloy wheels 19-inch series. The BF and Monitoring GT come with alloy wheels with five spokes previously available only in BA GT-P and Super Pursuit, while the flagship variants receive a new five-spoke design alloy wheels with raised spine in the center of each speech and machined outer rim.
The wheels are designed to highlight the power and presence of Brembo brakes, now standard on all FPV models.
